Year-end holidays: make room for family time
Official Malaysian school breaks, a Singapore school calendar and Indonesian holidays to help plan family time.
Start with dates that work for everyone, then choose one main outing each day. Leave time for Villa Wirokerten’s private pool, majlis and reading corner, with breaks for meals and prayer.
Malaysia: KPM’s 2026 year-end school break is 4–31 December for Group A (Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu) and 5–31 December for Group B. Check that your child’s school follows this calendar.
Singapore: Yew Tee Primary School’s official MOE calendar lists 21 November–31 December 2026 as the year-end break. Check your child’s own calendar; international schools may differ. Families from Brunei should confirm dates directly with their school before booking travel.
Indonesia lists 24 December 2026 as collective leave and 25 December as a national public holiday. These differ from school breaks and holidays at home; confirm how collective leave applies at your workplace.
Calendar information was checked on 9 October 2026 using the official sources below. Compare travel dates, then confirm villa rates, capacity and cancellation terms with the team. Attraction tickets and transport are booked separately.
